Rob Godfrey
Owner/Stylist
Master Stylist/Colorist and Salon Company Owner Rob Godfrey has been in the professional salon industry since 1984. Rob has an extensive and lengthy resume. He spent over 10 years traveling the globe as a Redken artist. He traveled internationally teaching color and design in places like Europe, Japan, Malaysia and Taiwan. He taught at the Redken Academy in New York and worked styling for Fashion Week in NYC. He is Redken Certified in both color and design. In 1989, Rob actualized the Italian word Volo, (vo'-lo') to grasp an idea, and created Salon Volo. In 2016, he began taking on employee shareholders who will one day run the salon company. He considers his most important role now as that of mentor to his staff and shareholders. While Rob no longer takes on new guests he does consultations to ensure new guests enjoy the best experience possible.
Stephanie Wilcox-Lowe
Shareholder/Stylist
Self-described as beauty obsessive, St. Petersburg native Stephanie Wilcox-Lowe as a child learned to read from beauty books. Today Stephanie is well known for her exceptional color talent, particularly with the most discerning blonde guests. She has gained this stature by honing the artful skill of foil placement, achieving her highly sought after blonding results. Stephanie's dedication to continued education is evident in the many Redken Specialist programs, Redken Symposiums and New York Redken Exchange programs she has attended. Stephanie began her career at Salon Volo at age 19 and has grown to the top tier of stylists. She additionally performs as an educator, mentoring and guiding our salon associates. In 2016 she purchased stock in Salon Volo, adding Salon Shareholder to her already impressive resume.
Joey Fletcher
Shareholder/Stylist
Joey joined the Volo team in 2014 after graduating from The Salon Professional Academy in Tampa, a Redken endorsed school. He became a shareholder of Salon Volo stock in 2019. Joey is a Certified Redken Specialist and also Redken Certified in design and color. Joey has taken advanced courses from the industry's leaders such as Sam Villa, Justin Isaac, Tara Gardner and Ryan Morgan. While Joey's passion is color, he is an accomplished designer as well. He is constantly studying the latest techniques and trends. Whether you see him with a client in his chair or not, Joey is always paying it forward by training our associate level stylists. He says his sense of creativity is expressed through hair color.
Johnny Argue
Shareholder/Stylist
Johnny joined the Volo team in 2016 from Metro Detroit and soon became in high demand for his skill and personality. In his early days as a professional ballet dancer his hands moved as skillfully on stage as they did back stage executing performance ready hair and make-up. Johnny is a Redken Certified Colorist and a Schwarzkopt Certified Colorist. The Vidal Sassoon Academy in Chicago certified him as an Advanced Designer. One of Johnny's most outstanding work experience was on the hair team for the Detroit Theatre Bizarre 2012 and 2016. Now in the second decade of his career he finds his passion working with hair color and blonding. Johnny's appreciation for nuance is like mastering the art of performance. He says he thrives on the fact that no two heads of hair are the same.

Amber Ray
Stylist
Salon Volo is happy to welcome Amber from the great state of Kansas. She grew up in a family that was in the Salon business. Amber has over 20 years of professional experience, she was lead stylist in her previous Redken salon. Amber firmly believes that the cut and color must work together. Her approach is to match the color to the individual using a multidimensional approach. Amber says "I love all color from natural to high fashion and I especially love working with blondes."
Christine Klein
Stylist
Originally from Ohio, Christine began her career at Salon Volo in 2007 as Salon Owner, Rob Godfrey's associate. Today she has a thriving clientele, specifically amongst discerning color and highlight clients. Her skill set is only exceeded by her kindness, her guests love her! Christine dedicates herself to continuing education at places like the Redken Exchange in New York City where she hones her skills in classes like "Color and Know Why." Christine is commited to learning and growing, constantly keeping an eye on the latest trends. She believeis consultation and communication is critical to the process of realizing her guests' goals with their hair.
Trinity Young
Stylist
Trinity’s passion for hairdressing began in childhood and only grew stronger with time. Even before graduating high school, she was already styling hair for friends and family, earning a reputation for her natural talent and creativity. She went on to refine her skills at the American Institute of Beauty in St. Petersburg. In 2023, Trinity joined Salon Volo as one of Joey's associates. Her warm personality and keen eye for detail quickly made her a favorite among Joey’s clientele, and she soon began building a loyal following of her own. Trinity has a special love for curls—whether natural or permed, she’s absolutely obsessed. Her enthusiasm and expertise in curly hair care make her a go-to stylist for anyone looking to embrace and enhance their texture. In addition to her curl expertise, Trinity offers a full range of color services. From subtle highlights to bold transformations, she brings creativity and precision to every color appointment, helping her clients achieve looks that are vibrant, dimensional, and uniquely their own.
Ashley Hatzopoulos

Ashley’s journey to becoming a salon professional began in kindergarten, when she first decided she wanted to be a hairstylist. That childhood dream stayed with her into adulthood—and was reaffirmed when she had a vivid dream of herself working behind the chair. Determined to turn that dream into reality, Ashley enrolled at the Aveda Institute in Tampa, where her passion truly came to life. After graduating, she quickly excelled in our Associate Training Program and is now well on her way to building a thriving clientele. Ashley is ceritfied in Bellami hair extensions and enjoys doing color and highlights.

Haley Kennedy
Stylist
Haley has an impressive resume with the ROTC program and accolades earned in both AP and Honors Programs at Boca Ciega High School. She has loved make-up and hair since she was very young so it was a natural step for her to attend Loraines Academy directly after high school. Haley feels fortunate to have Johnny Argue as her mentor and trainer at Salon Volo. Haley is a certified Redken Specialist and has had advanced color training with Joe Chesbro and color correction training with Randy Topham, both Redken Artists. Her infectious good nature is evident when she says, "I love helping people look and feel great, making the world beautiful one guest at a time."
Alyssa Young
Stylist
Alyssa is a St. Petersburg native who has had a lifelong desire to be a salon professional. Alyssa is a highly skilled cosmetologist known for her expertise as a color specialist and extension enthusiast. With a passion for learning, she quickly mastered various techniques in the field of beauty, earning recognition for her exceptional talent and creativity. Throughout her career she has continuously expanded her knowledge and honed her skills to deliver stunning transformations for her clients. Alyssa's dedication to excellence and innovation sets her apart in the salon professional industry making her a sought after professional among clients and peers alike. She says, "I am inspired by the satisfaction I see on my clients' faces when I transform their hair."
Ira Leighton
Guest services
Ira works in guest services at Salon Volo. Many of our guests recognize his as the "smooth as silk" voice on their voicemail messages when we used to call everyone to remind them of their appoinments. Technology has replaced Ira's phone reminders but it will never replace his dedication to serving our guests. What most people don't know is that Ira has a background in musical theater. What makes him such an asset to our Guest Services though, is his background in high-end jewelry sales. Ira knows how to treat our guests like gold.
Karen Kelly
Guest Services
Originally from New England, Karen gravitated toward a career in the entertainment field and found herself in LA working in TV, film and theater. As a SAG, AFTRA and AEA union performer her favorite "gig" was the 5 seasons she worked on the set of the TV series Wings. Karen has always been happiest surrounded by creative people so it's no wonder that she quickly became a team favorite at Salon Volo. While working for Allegiant Airlines, Karen mastered the art of kindness. She says, "The day is long. You will always find kindness here."
Amanda Dokes
Guest Services
Amanda has spent over 8 years in guest services at Salon Volo. She is a St. Petersburg native with an ever-present smile on her face. But, she's not just another pretty face. Amanda is a fierce competitor on the vollyball court, where you will find her most weekends. Golf is her latest passion. Customer service is her other game, she takes very good care of our guests.
